Sony Launches PlayStation Family App for Parents

Sony has rolled out a brand-new tool called the PlayStation Family app, designed to help parents keep track of their kids’ gaming on the PS4 and PS5. Available on both iOS and Android, the app brings all the console’s parental controls straight to a smartphone.

Through the app, parents can set daily playtime limits, keep an eye on purchases, filter out content based on age, and even manage who their kids interact with online. It also sends real-time alerts whenever a child starts playing, so parents don’t need to constantly check the console itself.
